Quality Assurance Activities
Each laboratory and department has its own quality assurance program as an integral part of its mission critical operations are carried out by, in line with our Corporate Quality Policy.
Along with keeping customer information strictly confidential, we ensure data reliability—which is crucial in analytical testing services—by using a quality system that conforms to international standards, such as ISO9001, ISO/IEC17025, Pharmaceutical and agrochemical GLP (Good Laboratory Practice).
1. Corporate Quality Policy
Based on the understanding that "quality underlies our business," when providing products and services to our clients, we strive to comply with all laws and regulations, maintain fair and transparent transactions and confidentiality, and observe internal regulations on quality to secure their trust and satisfaction.
To that end, we carry out activities in accordance with the corporate quality policy shown below.
- We thoroughly comply with relevant domestic and overseas laws and regulations, guidelines, etc.
We thoroughly comply with the laws and regulations of each country, contracts with clients, and other internal rules on quality. - We ensure that analytical data and services of a quality that meets clients' requirements will be provided.
We provide assured-quality analytical data and services under a quality assurance system that meets clients' quality requirements. - We establish the quality management system (QMS) and continuously strive to enhance the level of quality assurance.
We establish the quality management system, and continuously improve the processes through the PDCA cycle to enhance the level of quality assurance.
We establish an organization and invest necessary resources to implement quality assurance activities smoothly. - We foster our quality culture and implement quality improvement activities.
We foster our quality culture by providing continuous education and training for our executives and employees so that all executives and employees will have high ethical standards and voluntarily think and act to improve quality.

3. Corporate Quality Assurance System
The Corporate Quality Committee (chaired by the President, and consisting of each laboratory director and division heads) deliberates and makes decisions on the company's overall quality assurance activities, such as annual quality goals and priority measures, and plans measures for inspection and confirmation of the corporate quality assurance activities.
The Quality Assurance Department supports and promotes quality assurance activities of each laboratory and division in accordance with the instructions of the Corporate Quality Committee.
Additionally, by establishing a quality recognition system for organizations performing quality activities that serve as a model for the entire company, we strive to strengthen quality activities of the entire company and raise quality awareness among employees.
Each laboratory and division formulates an annual quality assurance policy and systematically makes quality improvement efforts based on it.
For example, each laboratory uses management reviews to review the progress continuously and regularly, and by reflecting this in the next quality activity policy and activity plan, the PDCA cycle is implemented to maintain and improve the quality assurance system.
When a problem occurs, we use techniques, such as five-whys analysis method, to investigate the root cause and take corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
In addition, we share information about the problem that has occurred throughout the company and take measures by having a sense of ownership to prevent the problem from occurring in each of the departments.
